The Black Corridor has about 30 routes ranging from 5.9 to 5.12a. The routes are slabby to slightly overhanging. The left side of the corridor gets morning sun and the right side mid day sun. Fun area for beginners or those looking to warm-up for some harder sends.
Drive the Red Rocks loop and park at the second pullout. Follow the trail directly down to the old river bed. Take the first obvious right hand trail that leads over some rocks and past two small pools. From there the corridor should be directly ahead, just scramble over a large rock section and follow a tight path to zigs right then left in to the corridor. The corridor is only about 10 to 15 feet wide so you will know it when you find it.
