Leaning Tree Edge is an amazing, sporty wall. It's a 5.10 climber's dream plus a couple of 11s. The routes are steep with good holds but all have strenuous sections that get a really good pump going.
From the Chinese Mountains trailhead follow the signs for the Beech's Mountain trail. Just 2-4 minutes out of the parking lot a path runs off the main trail uphill. Follow this path up a mossy draw and out onto an open bluff. Hike up this pretty meadow noting the traverse to the left (west) that goes to Manzanita Wall. At the top of the open bluff the path goes into the trees. Continue up and into a dense stand of trees. There to the right is the crag.
To reach Manzanita descend back toward the open bluff meadow and traverse to skiers right.
