Blue Jeans – 5.13b

Description:

A bolted multipitch on Yamnuska. (Route description by Derek Galloway)
P1, 5.12b-A cool pitch with some cool and powerful sidepull slaps in the crux, with some fun big moves to finish.
P2, 5.12d- Such a fun pitch. A long pumpy pitch the angles up and left with many small cruxes with rest in between.
P3, 5.12d-A shorter pitch with a crimpy and slightly technical crux. It may be harder now as I think a crimp broke, but would need to know which one broke to know for sure.
P4, 5.13a, a long pitch up a shallow corner feature with a lot of hard climbing and only one real rest in the middle. The finish can be a heart breaker with a really pumpy and powerful exit. Such a good pitch.
P5, 13a/b-The hardest pitch of the route. The climbing gets tougher and tougher the higher you get. After a weird section through a pod/scoop feature you get a small shake before a hard exit on some horrible slopers of micro crimps to easier climbing, but run out climbing to the anchor.
P6, 5.11d-Cool long pitch.
P7, 5.10d-Technical stipple climbing.
