May 6 2025 - Finally! So many sessions to finish this one with the OG way without the mail slot. Fell going for the lip twice before finally sending! August 1 2016 - Did this using the heel hook way. Not sure how to log on sendage because it seems there's 3 versions of this climb on here.

Did the low OG version without the upside down high heel beta. Crimpy and tensiony. The hardest part was switching feet and bringing it to the space robber start lol -

2023-06-24Crack version, second go (bungled finger placement in the crack on the flash). Feels pretty easy for the grade imo. -

Dayflashed/sent on my first attempt after trying the big move once in isolation the other day to check if it was too reachy for my height (it was not). Used the cool beta that everyone else does. No idea what to grade it with this beta.. somewhere between a 6 and a 7? -

Light version. High heel beta is sick. Feels easier than the 6 next to it if you don't eliminate certain holds. 2nd go, but did space monkey first. -
Really not sure if I used the right holds/right beta. -

This might just be better than Space Monkey. Did the high heel finger lock beta. It's just so much fun! But man the finger lock was brutal on the finger...Maybe this problem needs its own name?! -
Used the high heel slot method. Way more obvious line plus that move is sick!! It went first try from the ground after figuring out the big move. I don’t think it was V7

Climbed first go after sending space monkey. Did the slot and crack beta. True beta may be harder but this line is more natural and aesthetic. -

Like many people here, I used the high heel/mail slot beta. Felt hard cause of the span for me, but definitely not harder than V6. Should have it's own name so not to confuse with the true v8 beta. -

Used the slot and the high left heal, logical line, easier than space robber, super good -
Used the slot which makes this climb a lot more enjoyable. True V8 is significantly harder and heinous. -
Going right at the start seems pretty contrived. I climbed to the mail slot, put my left hand in the vertical crack hold, then moved right to the big sidepull on "Space Robber". Definitely not V8 this way but probably a higher quality climb.

High heel method. Two tries. Based on the guide book description I guess it would depend on how you do the 'first move' of Space Monkey :)

Strange one to grade. Ended up doing the "wrong" method everyone else seems to be doing, but it still ended up being a huge move for me. I stuck the "real" crux way in isolation, and the high heel beta throw is just way more fun of a climb, even if softer. V7 seems more appropriate.

First go. Followed the logical line and used hold in crack, didn't know if it was eliminate at the time. Much easier this way. -

2016-09-11Don't use the jug or the side pull in the crack. After the first move on Space Monkey, move right into Space Robber for the more true to the grade climb. Super sick movement!

V5/6 if you’re traversing left to the mailbox slot and back. Felt like solid V8 if you stay true to the description.

The high-heel off the slot is so sick! 2024 edit - this is the cradle robber lite variation. In hindsight, I can't honestly call this v8, consensus v6-7 feels appropriate.
