  Solomon McMorran:   My Beta differed from the videos I saw (Aidan / Ryan). I did not use the left heel hook at the 3rd draw, and used quite a few different feet that felt better for my shorter dimensions. I also clipped the last draw from a right hand crimp, which I then matched before moving right to the final top-out sequence. It seems everyone else crosses their left hand to this hold so save a few moves, but I could not make it work.

  Graham McGrenere:   From the small undercling by the 3rd bolt, go up right to the pinch then heel hook by your left hand. Left hand goes to side pull sloper a few feet higher, then tensiony moves set up feet to bump right hand to the good crimp by the 4th bolt. The rest is pretty straight forward

  Exceptional quality and approachable for the grade! None of the moves are too difficult in isolation, which made me think it would go down quickly after the first session. I was wrong. The sustained movement and techy sequencing is deceptively tricky when linking from the ground. If you are in Victoria, this line is certainly worth the trek!

  sport climbing is weird, all the moves are easy, i just keep forgetting where the f**k to put my feet. a nice day of stone scaling, would recommend this to any boulderer who fancies a shot at sport.

  Thank god. I thought my sending muscle had shrivelled and died. A real power-endurance testpiece: a tough style and an anomaly on granite like this. King line of the crag; but is it real rockclimbing?

  A little gem for sure! Stoked to get the flash, felt super solid like I had climbed it before. Sam’s beta was spot on and I managed the flash even though he didn’t replicate holds while I laid on the ground visualizing Adam Ondra style.

  Nice power endurance test piece for the southern island. I imagine this route gets more difficult the shorter you are. New closed route to the right is similar but a tad harder. Need to get back there soon and send it. Possible FA on highway robbery goes to Mike Ahl as he sent after some bolts were added years ago.

  Had to fight for it at the top! My fingers were opening up on the holds just below the anchor. It's great to see a good quality route at this grade so close to Victoria. Go do it!

  3rd go. When I was first considering a grade, I thought this was 13a, but upon further reflection I believe soft 13b is appropriate as it is definitely a step up from the 13a's I've done recently. Not a huge step, but a step non-the-less. No move on this route is particularly hard, however, it is nonstop from the first move to the last, which is what gives it the grade. I had also thought this was an FA but it sounds like it was sent a few days ago. My beta differed greatly from Yannick's. See beta section for what I did.
