Joy climbs a striking outer corner on a huge larger corner slab on the south face of Mt Indefatigable. The line is very obvious and the feature large so there's no mistaking it. The main route finding is knowing when to move out of the corner and on to the slab. The crux is in the middle of the route where the rock becomes fairly smooth and toward the top the rock on the slab becomes grippier and more textured.
The descent is described in guidebooks as 150m to reach easier terrain but it's more like 350m to traverse across scree-covered ledges on the east side of the upper ridge the reach easier meadow slopes. A long traverse across the open slope leads to the closed hiking trail - closed due to grizzly bear activity.
