Dan Beland: LH slimp. RF high ledge. Left toe hook on right facing edge below start hold. RH straight up to pinch. Bump. LF up. Jump to lip. Go all the way left to top out. RF over lip. Wayy back there is a RH crimp to finish the rollover. -

Felt hard and greasy today. Never tried before the break but def felt like high end v9 Its kinda hard to know whats off limit on the arete for your feet imo -

Sick ! Powerful bumps, sick move to the lip, and technical T/O at a decent height. Awesome :) ***EDIT: June 6: re-sent post-break (~April 2022). It is just as good this way! More technical, less powerful. Maybe a tad harder and closer to the actual V9 grade. -
Only a little harder than Killa with my sneaky betas. Left to slimp then straight up. The top isn't that hard but I almost blew it 😆

5th try. Really enjoyed the moves on this! Hand flip was dope and the move to the lip is blind to where the good spot is so a tick mark really helps. Fun challenging mantle topout -

Fits my lanky frame and style well! First of the grade.

Tried many different beta options before committing to the drop knee to get around the triple bump. Extremely fun movements!

Potential flash but I hadn't scoped out the lip beta. Maybe 4 tries? Cool moves, much better than killa gorilla -

This one put up a fight! I did all the moves really fast but for some reason the jump move gave me a lot of trouble when coming at it from the ground. I think the grade is extremely height dependent on this one. My span is just wide enough to make it work but watched people who are definitely stronger than me struggle with the second bump to the Arete. Maybe that is why this is only 3 stars but for me it climbed so well!

Soft if you have gorilla arms like me! Maybe 4th go? -
The high friction conditions made this such a fun and achievable climb! Only a few tries after a session a couple months ago. Same crew as the first session pretty much made for a good team on a mentally challenging day. -

2019-03-16Felt questionable for V9...Hip Check and House of Parliament, nearby, felt harder. Expected it to be harder and didn't give it a good flash effort, cruisy second go. Boo Graham, boo!

Powerful moves on big holds. Book gives it 3 stars, but I think this is a quality line.

A really meaningful bloc for me. Sweet first of the grade and post blown knee! All right leg dependent, so if you wanna ignore the left this is a good one. -
Took a bit of commitment to get to the lip. The top out was less than optimal but it worked. -

Climb looked not very fun. But I ended up really enjoyed this one. -

But like..... Why not just do Killa Gorrila and exit left? Still went left hand first as per killa, then I just went straight up and it wasn't that much harder than going right. Definitely worth doing if everything in the forest is a tad damp.

Taking the vacation, guidebook grade. This wold be a first class problem were the boulder not in the way of the start. Decided to do a sit start off of it. Otherwise the first move is way too annoying to be worth it. -

worked this problem last year and didnt have much luck, but got it this year, took about 5 trys to figure out beta than send, tough top out if u dont commit to the heel! -

Thanks to Matt for the beta. Another solo send. Doing the mantel with no spotters was scary. Beached whale style. A great problem but no way V10, come on people, lets have some self respect!

unique movement, thought it was a bit forced and couldnt really do any moves at first but really enjoyed it and sent fast second session. beta really helps.

Something broke off since I last saw this problem last summer. The current configuration of holds allows me to use a really cool sequence with awesome movements. I highly recommend this climb to people who cannot use the bump, bump, jump beta! -
