Turns out the Canmore kid can no hands kneebar. Wouldve taken a lot longer if the local crushers hadnt spoon fed me beta. Radical

“I finally fucking sent something!” Tried once in the summer heat last year and had a horrible time. Went second go today. Historical send on the same day that Trump was officially voted out of office. Can’t wait to come back now.

First time going fully horizontal on a climb! Definitely physical, but eases up as you find all the kneebar rests. -

This took way too many tries over too many years. Never got more than a try or two every other year and never progressed. Decided to put it to bed this year and it went as soon as I decided on beta. Phew. -

Super stoked to clip the chains! First burn of the day was terrible, but was convinced to hope back on and finally send it after 6 years working it on and off. Now onto pushers! Definitely deserves the 5 stars since it is such an iconic, 3D

This one took a lot out of me but was a great learning experience! -
A bit of a roller coaster for me - I was frustrated on my first try as I just didn't understand how to read the rock and 3D movement. Super grateful for Kirsten who shared her beta with me! Surprised myself with a send next go.

What a battle. After my first few times on this route, I really disliked it and decided to try other routes instead. And yet I kept coming back to it, learning each burn how to climb on such 3D features. Still not my favourite climb, but it flows nicer when you know the beta! Feels harder than 12b to me.

I had such a mental block on this climb. It feels like you're wrestling a dragon or something. Reminds me of shadow of the colossus. Jankiest chain clip of my life. Would be 4 or 5 stars in my book if the first 3 bolts of climbing wasn't so shitty.

I love the features on this climb, and how it's so 3-dimensional. You seriously twist every which way, and more than once, I was completely upside down. Savour the flavour of the amphitheater cause this climb is the ultra classic style!

had to get used to the horney style before this one went. leg got stuck in big hole on send which was quite interesting

Somehow this went from feeling like 5.13 to 5.11 in a couple sessions. When I sent, I’m 90% sure everyone thought I was still trying to quadruple hang it because of how pathetic my previous attempt was. Weirdest thing I’ve ever climbed.
