  patrickdaley:   Cross LH to first 3 finger slot, then step in and hit RH as gaston. Get your feet on and bump to the arete once you hit the arete adjust to use the name-sake thumb if you want. First two moves were my crux.

  Sarah Silva:   For shorties: start with hands on obvious start pockets and left foot way out left, right foot crunched in a bit to avoid the flakes. Big cross over with the left hand to the obvious pocket/ three finger slot. Then left foot high in the left hand start hold, and right hand to the pocket to the right of the slot. Then up to the rule of thumb pinch/sloper with the right hand. Right foot high on a little jib, moon kick with the left foot to grab a super juicy jug pocket with the left hand. Come in to a crimp with the right hand, then left foot swings up and way out left for the mantle. Finish out right.

  taking V7+ for this. the bottom section is fun, really nice V7- movement on cool fingery holds but the top face is extremely heady and thin which takes this, as a whole, up to V7+ for me. it is seriously a do not fall situation up there; make sure you're not so pumped that you can't down-climb back down. managed to figure out the beta for the top on third or fourth attempt.

  Im taking the full 7. I think a LH side-pull broke, making the top-out harder and pretty heady. Topping out towards the left struck me as the safer option, since there are two prominent shelves to lower yourself down with.

  Broke a jug at the top out and had a pretty scary fall. Thank god Ari saved me! Pretty fun moves at the bottom with a sweet cross and the cool thumb hold. High chossy top out and an awful landing. Spotters be careful! Maybe a soft 7.

  Sick double undercling cross over start! That thumb catch is dope on the pinch. Pretty soft, doesn’t feel like the allocated v8 grade.

  Would be my first V8 but I think it more of a V7. Good climb regardless and it felt far less sketchy than it looked at first glance.

  One star in the guidebook but I thought this one was pretty fun. Small pockets, cool "rule of thumb" feature (but small hands can't use it), and a fun mantle. The top out is kind of sketchy.
