Dream boulder, perfect quiet day in the forest, done on my last try of the day with no expectations and lots of fatigue. I love this climb so much. Thank you to Leo for being a great and supportive friend. I am still in disbelief that it went down! This testpiece was always on my radar but seemed way out of reach until my last trip when I stuck all but the last move. Watching Sol crush this one in person was inspiring and got me fucking psyched. The send came out of nowhere. I’m so happy.

This came as a complete shock. I did it in less than 10 tries today and this was my first time trying it all year. I had only tried it once before, some time ago, probably over a year ago, I dunno, I don’t remember. But that first time i tried it I could barely do any of the moves and was very demotivated. There was this perfect wind flowing in today and slightly cool temps, it was outstanding. There was a ladder stashed there so while I was figuring out the moves I decided to set it up, leaning against the boulder, and with my tripod attached, I wanted to get a cool above angle shot. Little did I realize my next burn I linked all the moves to the pinch from the bottom and couldn’t go for the finish because the ladder was in the way. I could have sent it that try! I did not expect to get that far, that quick so I put the ladder away and sent it a few tries later. Very stoked. About the grade: I’ve never done a v13 before and only a handful of v12s. This definitely doesn’t feel like the hardest boulder I’ve ever done and would be the fastest v12 I’ve ever done. All the other v12s I’ve done have taken a handful to several sessions to complete. IF this one is v12 it would be low end FOR ME. But also it’s been a very good week for me, the weather was incredible and i could possibly be feeling a bit stronger from the board climbing I did this winter. I am unsure to be certain but I cannot justifiably take the guidebook grade, so soft v12 will have to suffice.

Unreal. One of the best and hardest boulders I’ve ever done. Very pure and beautiful line. Similar to board climbing but with more Squamish subtleties and nuance. Put it together 1st go of my 5th session, followed shortly after by Tristan. Amazing moment. Thanks Jarrett, Ella, Kabir, Max, Cisco and T Manz for the support on this one. The best 3 climbing days of my life. No idea on grade for me.

Really fun! Did it twice in a row for kaizen. Cant decide on the grade. Felt like v11 when it went, but idk it that is how you decide on a grade. Very condition, style, and micro beta dependent if your weak like me.

idk what grades are, could be 11 could be 13 , sent in a couple goes as soon as my foot stayed on long enough for first move. Really amazing boulder
