  Maybe the most cryptic route I have ever tried, took a few goes to figure out! Savage powerful foot twisting slabbing sequential tenuous slippery sports action. The learning curve is steep once you figure it out a bit. Soft b works for me, cryptic and so subtle, big difference between dogging comfortably and sending.

  Beauty line, kudos to Ross for the first ascent so many years ago. I think 13b feels right. It took me many more tries than harder grades in the BV, but It's not a style I'm good at. I enjoyed the learning process on this one, finally stopped making mistakes and sent!

  a masterpiece. On the debated grade, I don't think Ross's original 13a was so far off. with refined beta and comfort in the style I could see this feeling quite reasonable, physically speaking. But I think the cryptic nature of the climbing warrants a 13b overall effort level, especially compared to other routes in the valley
