  First rockies harder alpine route. Do not get demotivated by that first pitch. It was probably the worst pitch of my life (crimping rat poo). I genuinely was thinking of ending the route there and then and rapping off.... even for the 3 hour approach in the dark. But was pleasantly surprised by the next 7 pitches of pretty much bomber rock. Including some jams. Was going to go for the whole shabang of Super Brewers but had some mega foot cramps and bailed at the top of Ultra.

  Great day with Matty.... sport climbed the offwidth forsure. We didn't even want or try the Brewers top tier part. And I didn't get lost stupidly on the first pitch. We didn't have a great day just hanging out in the sun and learning that Matt secretly wants to become a cop and just eat donuts.

  The first pitch is shit covered and chossy. It climbs and protects well in spite of this. The rest of the climbing is much much better. I linked this with Brewers Buttress to do Super Brewers in 13hr car to car.
