  One of the greatest motivators in life is when someone tells you “ it can’t be done”. When I first moved back to Australia from overseas, I was very curious about 8-9 year closed projects. I was told by the group of peoples - “go climb the rest of the crag first and bolt your own climbs before getting on peoples closed projects” (which seemed fair but also antiqued at the time length). Therefore, 5 years go by. I climbed the entire crag - bolted 2 of my own climbs at the same crag and alas, the belittling attitude of the route setter still flared up in recent conversations with some people again - enquiring online about 12 year old “closed projects”. As the legend Ben Cossey once said about a project in the Blue mountains,” the project was set free from the shackles of believed rock ownership and fat bums on couches”. 4 shots for me over 2 sessions. Again, my favourite style - a boulder high up in the sky. 32m’s of excellent climbing with a thin and technical crux. Be free - “Forced Sharing”.
